Feedback gevenWe had a lovely experience at a Sprig of Thyme. It was my husband and I and my parents. All four of us had dishes we raved about. My husband had the duck my father and I both had steak (mine was the special and gis was the filet) and my mother had the shrimp and scallops. The environment is my absolute favorite kind, I love cozy places with booths. Our waiter was efficient and friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
Last night we finally made time to get over to A Sprig of Thyme. The atmosphere was intimate and very tasteful and relaxed. The staff was cordial and efficient. The food was incredible. I couldn't decide what to order. We settled on the tomato tartare and mushroom soup to start. She did the crab cakes while I ate the Shrimp and Soba. I polished it off with a coffee and the chocolate key lime mousse. Chef seasoned everything to perfection to deliver one of the best meals I have eaten. Bon Appetit.
Omg the Savor Sarasota menu was excellent. The service was outstanding .The Tuna tower and the Bronzino was awesome.
Food was fantastic! Thank you Gina for your food service and Luigi for your amazing laughter and conversation. You and your wife have a hit on your hands!! We will be back to share this gem with others!
Perfect ambiance to celebrate good food with good friends. Owner operated bistro captures a rewarding familiarity with superb entree's and finished with tantalizing desserts. Appetizers included in the Savor Sarasota $40 price fix encompassed a beautiful variety of starters. The selection included your choice of Potage Due Jour (Carrot Bisque this evening), Tuna Tower Tartar, Traditional Caesar or the Escargot Gratine'. All beautifully prepared. The Entrees include Corsican Branzino which, due to the overwhelming patronage, ran out and substitute Corsican Barramundi was as welcome. Sprig of Thyme Mahi Mahi, pan seared and finished with a lemon beurre blanc was also available. Lastly, my choice of the evening, Vitello Piccata, pan seared and topped with a citrus Piccata, was excellent. My only criticism would be that there was only one cutlet which was disappointing. Finally, dessert was to be a Key Lime Creme Brulee, but there again due to the crowd only one was available for the four of us, we arm wrestled and Richard won the prize, which was delicious. They substituted two wonderful alternatives. A rich and creamy chocolate mousse and a homemade cannolli served with creme fraiche which more than fit for the finale. The owner, Luigi, was very attentive as was our server who made the evening special. If you can only go to one Savor dinner, make time for Sprig of Thyme. Bon Appetit Rich Carpenter
