Crofthead Cafe - River Kelvin

The fish and chips are now exceptional under the new ownership, which offers a variety of different fish. The food is amazing and would be very hard to beat—absolutely delicious!

The food is good, but the staff at the counter always seem unhappy. They appear more interested in chatting with each other than attending to customers. There’s rarely a smile, and they give the impression that they’d rather be somewhere else. It doesn’t cost anything to be friendly. Management, please take note.

The food was excellent, but I believe there should be table service.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant earlier this week. On Tuesday, I ordered a pizza and ice cream, but instead, I received a pizza and chips. When I called to complain and requested to speak to the manager, I could hear laughter in the background, which was quite disrespectful. I decided to visit the shop in person to address my concerns and encountered the same lack of respect from the staff. I plan to wait until the manager, John, returns from his holiday to discuss this matter with him. As a pensioner, I felt quite upset and left the shop nearly in tears due to the way I was treated.

I picked up food for my daughter's birthday party, and it was delicious!
