Houston's - Riverside

What an incredible culinary experience! Houston’s is a classic from ambience to wine to food. Everything is clean and beautiful. One of my favorite parts of my latest meals at Houston was the service. Our waiter was friendly, full of recommendations and accommodating. He helped us to have the perfect night! As for food, the steak is dying! One of my favorites from the menu is the grilled artichokes. Unreal! The Remoulade that came with him was simply amazing!

We ordered smoked salmon as an appetizer, tuna salad and Hawaii Steak. Salmon was a little more pepper than before. Instead of French Pommes, we got kale salad. Everything was delicious! Beautiful intimate atmosphere and fast service. Definitely, our fav place to come!

April our waitress was top notch, very friendly and offered us with A1 service. The food was good from this world. We ate all our meals. Very grown sexy vibe. I can't wait to go back.

I would have given a 1-star rating if it wasn't for her manager Sapphire. My staff and I made a reservation for a party of 4 on Tuesday night (if it's pretty less crowded). 1 more staff ended with the desire to join, so we called Houstons to see if we can add 1 more to our reservation. The lady who picked up sounded rude and let us know that we need to give up our reservation if we do not stay with our original reservation. We said this was unfair and wanted to ask if she would talk to the manager when she was on the line, apologized for the disappointing service, and that was an unacceptable behaviour at the end. She made sure she wanted to welcome us personally when we came in and that she would assign us one of the best servers for us to enjoy our night. The food was of course delicious. Things cannot go as it should be in a hectic and busy night, but the small, yet detailed customer service makes everything.

Lunch on a early weekday. Always a wait. Today April was our Server, what a magnetic Woman. She was so professional and charismatic.
