Palenque Kitchen By Mezcal - Riverside

Initially, walking in the ambience is pretty cool it’s dimly lit. The bar has a really nice set up and vibe to it. We sat at the booth a table for two, The really nice server recommended some of the Mezcal drinks I ordered the SUAVECITO cocktail with Mezcal, lime, pineapple, chareau, sugar And also got the CHILE PEPINO Which had Mezcal, lime, cucumber juice, agave syrup They both were delicious! We went on to ordering or entrées, but definitely a little bummed because they were all sold out of the case of media, which is what we were looking forward to so we were forced to get the CAMPECHANO- 7/10 flour tortillas, steak, chorizo, habanero sauce, red onion, cilantro. I personally wouldn’t get it again I feel like it would’ve just been great with just the chorizo. My all-time favorite dish with the shrimp enchiladas there’s a $7 added charge but it’s very very good! Overall I’d return!

Greeting was great! Vibe and food amazing (unlike previous reviews). No it won’t look like what is professionally photographed but it tastes yummy! Bar tender was good, nothing special. Mixed drinks are unique enough.

I'm back and today I had the dine-in experience. I'm impressed! I had the birria tacos and even though I'm wearing the juice on my shirt, I loved the food. And the mango margaritas are really good too! Sally, Felix and Fred made me feel special today, thank you! I'll definitely be back!

If you want very good food this is the place you need to try. This is the third time here and everything has always been very tasty and unique especially the carnitas. 9/03/2022 This restaurant gets better every time we go here, this is not your typical Mexican restaurant every dish is unique and made with quality ingredients and very good recipes. Caritas, barbacoa and birria couldn't have been better.

Great place to eat and drink. Fun vibe. The music and the atmosphere is fun. Shout out to Paolo, great service and knows how to show you a fun time. Food was delicious. Ample portions and the drinks are strong. Highly recommend for a group outing or even a nice date. Book a reservation online if you plan on going during peak hours, gets pretty full. Open late and plenty to do in the area afterwards.
