They offered a special for a large pizza with four toppings, so we chose pepperoni, green bell peppers, chicken, and ricotta. I think this might have been my first time trying ricotta on pizza, and let me tell you—it transformed the experience! The pizza came out piping hot, with a fluffy crust on the inside and a nice crispiness on the outside. There was a generous amount of cheese, and the cheese-to-sauce ratio was just perfect. I paid around $16 for the special pizza, which isn't the cheapest option, but it’s definitely enough to serve 3 to 4 people. Overall, it's a great deal for what you get. I will definitely be returning!

The pizza is amazing - always hot and delicious. Their prices are great as well. So why didn't I give them five stars? They're closed on Mondays.
As you might know from my previous reviews, I have a habit of focusing on pepperoni pizzas since it's my favorite topping. If a pizzeria can't get that right, they really shouldn't be in the pizza business. The pizza in the photo is a triple pepperoni with a basil and garlic butter crust. I went for the triple pepperoni because they have a four-topping special. Overall, it's a solid pizza. While it has a bit of a flop (which keeps it from scoring in the 7s), the flavor is excellent. It has a slight doughiness, but it's definitely not the overly cheesy style that many California pizzerias tend to serve. The crust on the handle is pleasantly crunchy. If you prefer it well-done, it will reduce some of that flop. They also use a really good sauce and oversized pepperonis—about twice the size of your typical Hormel slice. Additionally, they offer something rare in the region: pepperoni rolls, which I absolutely love. Scratch's pepperoni rolls are among the best I've had outside of Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia. However, there's a trick to ordering them; while the plain rolls would also earn a score of 6.8, if you ask for them to be brushed with garlic butter, they'll elevate to an impressive 8.7. I haven't sampled the pizza from their other two locations yet, but the pictures suggest they maintain a consistent quality across all three. With only three locations in close proximity, that should be relatively easy. Overall, if you're looking for a solid pizza that leans a bit heavier than the traditional New York style, I recommend checking out Scratch for some handmade goodness.
The pizza was delicious, but the wait for lunch was definitely too long. I'm not sure if they were understaffed or what the issue was, but they need to improve their lunchtime service speed. The staff was friendly to begin with, and the restaurant was clean.
