Tao Dumpling Chinese Restaurant

During my visit to Tao in Camberwell, I had certain expectations. However, we all agreed that the experience was not as good as expected. The restaurant is quite small, making it crowded when it's full.

Came here to dinner after the gym... just wanted a little cheap and casual. I love places like this, no service until it, cramped sitting places and a long, long menu. Everything here was so easy, fahne over a waiter, commanded, eating came as it...considered and that was that. eating came incredibly fast and was piercing hot- loved the gay and pan roasted noodles above all. my only disadvantage here is that it is not cheap Chinese up to melbourne standards (denke shanghai dumpling house). dinner will cost us $70 for 3 dishes and go up a bit. overall, although good vibes, good food and I would definitely be back for the dumplings.

Shockingly places us too much Mist service not coming absolute skets round, eating was good, yeyee ass service want my money back almost upset.

My wife and I went to a late lunch. service was ok, not fantastic but far from bad. we ordered some blunt appetizers, steamed grilled and deep fried lamb and fön ( really good the deep fried)...for netzen I ordered a kind of seafood soup,...not to realize it came with noodles I ordered a fried vegetables as well as, my wife ordered fried garnish in a salt type case that was excellently cooked in it. the suppe was a bit bland, like the fish, garnish and calamari, but nothing a hauch of soy could not sort the garnish were perfectly cooked, but a tad too salty and we needed plenty of water later to flush our systems, but overall a more than acceptable meal and for the under $70 price-day it was really a worth meal, I was forgetting that we could have fed what we have. we go back...absolute... two times around us we know what we want to order and what to avoid.

We are absolutely shocked by the rating this eatery has gained. Without going into too much details: Dumplings were bad...Very bad, no favor, no texture and very dry. Calamari was crisp but rubbery....Quite difficult to swallow, let alone chew.
