Max's Since 1945 - Riyadh

Max's Restaurant provided a highly disappointing experience. Despite numerous empty tables, they had us waiting outside for an hour. Initially, the female staff member informed us there were no available seats, which was accurate for the first 5 minutes. However, after that time, it became evident that there were plenty of vacant tables. Instead of addressing this, the female staff member engaged in unprofessional behavior, chatting and laughing with another female coworker.

My visit to Max 's Restaurant at SM City San Lazaro left much to be desired, earning a mere 1 out of 5 stars from me. The disappointment began with the lackluster service the staff seemed disinterested and inattentive throughout my dining experience. Despite the restaurant 's reputation, the food fell short of expectations. The dishes appeared hastily prepared and lacked the promised flavors that Max 's is known for. The famous fried chicken, which I had eagerly anticipated, arrived overcooked and dry. Even the classic sizzling tofu tasted bland and lacked the usual sizzle. Moreover, the ambiance left a lot to be desired. The dining area felt cramped and poorly lit, contributing to an overall unsatisfying dining atmosphere. To make matters worse, the restroom was unkempt and lacked basic hygiene supplies. All in all, my experience at Max 's Restaurant in SM City San Lazaro was far from enjoyable. The subpar service, disappointing food quality, and lackluster ambiance combined to create a regrettable dining outing that I would not be eager to repeat.

Not pet-friendly. Poor service. Walang kwenta management. Naghahanap pa ng kakampi mga staff. Nakakahiya.

I ordered sinigang na baboy and kare kare and both were really flavorful. If you're craving for some this is the place to be.
