We got 2 bottles of wine to last through the night. Servers were punctual and helpful. Ambiance is perfect for chill hangouts for big groups or an intimate date night. The place is cozy-dark and lit only by yellow accent lights which makes the view of the metro really vivid to the naked-eye. Music was mellow and not too loud which allowed meaningful conversations. One thing to note, the place can be too hot and humid on a summer night.
This place is great for chilling after work! The view of Manila Bay and Manila skyline is great. Drinks have reasonable prices and food is okay
I saw their happy hour promo and so we decided to check out this place. We really enjoyed the ambience and the courteousness of their staffs. We had pasta, pizza and beer. The food is worth the price. They have a nice music playlist, it’s a perfect hang out place for friends and also a great place to have a date with your special someone. Also, they have an acoustic night every Thursdays and Saturdays at 8PM. I’d definitely go back to this place, my new found gem.
After a blog event nearby, our foodie group decided to have drinks here at Penthouse By The Way. If you’ve heard or been to the Great Gatsby themed Penthouse 8747 in Makati, this place serves as their second location. We took advantage of their Happy Hour promotion from 6-9pm. A selection of familiar cocktails was only at Php 150 if you avail of at least 3. We got multiple glasses of Mojito, a Lychee Martini, and a frozen Maria Margarita for myself. My friends mentioned that the alcohol content was better than expected. Our table also ordered the Penthouse franchise best selling Jellous Lover Champagne. It’s value for money at Php 900 since it extends to 4 people. This premium champagne comes with white jelly and berries. While everyone was drinking and chatting, I ate some sweet treats. I got a decent Fruit Platter and delectable alcohol infused Chocolate Cheesecake. They presented the latter with a fire effect. The overall ambiance and service here impressed me. I loved the comfortable couch with soft throw pillows and the staff was both hospitable and friendly.
It was a last minute booking for a New Year’s eve celebration and it was a good decision! Rang the customer service on the eve of the new year and booked a reservation for 2 and went pretty smoothly which was least expected as many venues were all booked up. Arriving at the hotel was a great surprise as you enter the driveway to the hotel and in to the lobby, it was mesmerisingly beautiful like being transported back to the golden age of Philippine architecture, truly clean and perfectly formed in every detail. As we got up to the penthouse level where the venue of the event was, an amazing open air veranda that overlook Manila Bay and Rizal Park; my guest and I were truly amazed by its wide open space and carefully arranged furnishings ready for the evening’s spectacular fireworks event. Then came the food we ordered, we decided to go for Italian dishes, pizza and pasta complimented with a bottle of white and red!We enjoyed it very much and our tummies were indeed happy that evening culminating to an evening of thunderous fireworks and pulsating music! I give this venue a 5* and for the event a 5* too. The service was equally worthy of full stars and price I thought was average so it was value for money. I will be back again and more likely book a stay at one of their suites. I highly recommend this venue !
