Cogito - Rize

This spacious yet cosy café is located right in the middle of the small town of Fındıklı. It offers a wide range of food options, like falafel, schnitzel, pasta, but also typically Turkish meals such as kebab and the local specialty muhlama, which I particularly enjoyed a lot. The owner, who grew up in the area, knows the town and the surrounding villages like no one else and is always willing to give great tips for sightseeing. Last but not least, your stay will be greatly enhanced by presence of the two lovely cats, who give the impression that they own the place.

The prices are reasonable and you'll not only enjoy the food, but also the company of good friends who are always up for a philosophical discussion. Just ask for the name of the place and they'll happily engage in a warm conversation with you.
