El Rodeo - Roanoke

Service was OK. There was a party coming in, and we felt rushed. Food was not great. Chimichangas were stuffed with very little protein and tons of onions and peppers as cheap filler.

Went in the afternoon at 230 not a lot of people there. The waiter was kind. The food was delicious delivered piping hot, and a lot of of. Enough to take home for a second meal. The restaurant was clean the music was good not to loud. The price was great for the amount of food and the quality of the food.

Ordered through DoorDash…got dinner for myself and 3 others. 2 were children and their dinners were fine. I got 2 chicken and 2 beef tacos, the chicken taco had bone sliced up and was in the taco. So gross and the rest of dinner was tossed.

Order a steak with a Guacamole salad. The salad consisted of lettuce and tomato's, however no guacamole at all. Call the restaurant with no answer.

We made a reservation for a party of 12, arrived at the time of the reservation, and were told they did not have a table for us. I'm unsure if they did not save us a table or if they prematurely gave away our table. The entire time the hostess was very rude and laughing at us. We asked for the manager to try to help us resolve this issue and they did not show up. We waited an additional 10-15 minutes for them to find us a table and ended up leaving. El Mazcal 5 minutes down the road (in front of Chuck E Cheese) was much more friendly, accommodating, and the food and beverage was well beyond the quality of anything I've ever had at El Rodeo.
