The food and service were very good and very well priced. The variety of patrons was reminiscent of the DMV.Everyone was represented from little babies, to men in suits, old white guys in Bermuda shorts to face tattooed dudes withdreadlocks. Apparently, I've been missing out and everyone knew but me! We'll certainly be back.
This is not a problem! to eat, they put you with a group of other people's elbows. not the worst in living, but when they go to dinner with someone who is hard to run a private conversation without taking part. table is u with grill in the middle shaped. foods are cooked before them a proper concept, except when the cook does not show food safety standards. eating was very expensive for what ended on my teller. the waitress took our order and we hardly ever saw it. if I pay for a drink, I want a refill, especially if it's not that good and I have to wash it off with something. had to be for a box to take the rest, and then it seemed like it was a hate to bring out a box that was too small so that we had to ask another. / looks like there is a nice bar choice and sushi bar, although I did not try that while after the claw service from the waitress.
I had a HORRIBLE experience with my family today. our cook approached our table, greeted us and began to go the table to check what we had ordered through the waitress. halfway around the table brought out our waitress our salads, which he apparently considered to be rude interruption, so he cuffed on them, visibly angry, and then just stopped talking. he literally slammed our sauce dishes down around the table and began to fill them as we all saw each other in the midst of unpleasant quiet. I spoke to him when he started to put oil and rice on the grill to brighten the mood. he reacted to me with a sarcastic commentary and said: “I don’t feel like talking, I’ll talk when I feel like it,” in a very hating tone. this infuriated me when I tried to be nice to him and to reverse the already strange and unprofessional mood he had created. I apologized to the toilet room so I could compose myself. I never had an experience like these everywhere. I returned and he was controversial and tried to be jovial with the rest of my family. He tried to talk to me what felt like a depreciation for his former rude behavior, but I was finished at that time. I said I thank him every time he puts me some food on the plate, but I was no longer interested in being friendly. to maintain our behavior, he sang very loud, a brad paisley song at our table after we had received our meals. this just added the unmistakable, although I suspect that I should appreciate the venerable gesture. Nevertheless, this was worse than the bad customer service, it was a lack of it. / a family member wanted to know on a side note whether a particular sushi court would contain either thunfisch or lachs, as they did not want to order it when it was made with another species of fish. our waitress simply repeated: “It’s the choice of cook,” every time the question was re-formed on it. Why shouldn't she just ask? after our meal another family member asked about dessert. either they have no current written dessert menu or there was a language barrier problem. she said to one dessert: “never thoughts.” / in conclusion we have all bad days, but if they have the retention to control themselves before paying customers, they should not work directly with customers. also the customer is always correct (request the manager or cook over the salmon/tuna). Finally, if they want to maximize their profit in an ethnic restaurant in America, those who order and ask should be fluid enough to do this completely, or sales-minded enough to get someone who is if they have problems with a certain communication.br< br>/ have I mentioned that a bug was crooked on my white sauce court? as the saying says, they get what they pay.
Serivce lacking!. Went there for dinner. They seat you with a group of other people elbow to elbow. Not the worst thing in life but if you are going to have dinner with someone its hard to have a private conversation without involving others. Table is U shaped with grill in the middle. Food is cooked in front of you a neat concept except when the cook demonstrates no food safety standards. Food was highly priced for what ended up on my plate. Waitress took our order and we hardly ever saw her. If I pay for a drink I would like a refill especially when the food isn't that good and I need to wash it down with something. Had to beg for a box to take out leftovers and then it seemed like it was a hassle to bring out a box that was too small so we had to request another one. Looks like there is a nice bar selection, and sushi bar, although I did not try that while there after the crappy service from the waitress.
I had a HORRIBLE experience here today with my family. Our chef approached our table, greeted us, and began going around the table verifying what we had ordered through the waitress. Halfway around the table, our waitress brought out our salads, which apparently he viewed as a rude interruption, so he huffed at her, visibly angry, and then just stopped speaking. He literally SLAMMED our sauce dishes down around the table and began filling them as we all looked at each other amidst awkward silence. I spoke to him when he started putting oil and rice on the grill, trying to lighten the mood. He responded to me with a sarcastic comment and said, “I don’t feel like talking, I’ll talk when I feel like it,” in a very hateful tone. This INFURIATED me, as I was trying to be nice to him and reverse the already weird and unprofessional vibe he had created. I excused myself to the restroom so that I could compose myself. I have never had an experience such as this anywhere. I returned and he was conversing and attempting to be jovial with the rest of my family. He attempted to speak to me in what felt like compensation for his previous rude behavior, but I was done at that point. I said thank you to him each time he put subpar food on my plate but I was no longer interested in being friendly. To make up for our behavior, he sang, very loudly, a Brad Paisley song to our table once we had our received our meals. This just added to the awkwardness, although I suppose I should appreciate the remorseful gesture. Nevertheless, this was worse than poor customer service, it was a lack thereof. On a secondary note, one family member wanted to know if a particular sushi dish would contain either tuna or salmon, as she did not want to order it if it was made with a different type of fish. Our waitress simply repeated, “it is chef’s choice” each time the question was rephrased to her. Why could she not just go ask?! After our meal, another family member asked about dessert. Either they do not have an actual written dessert menu or there was a language barrier issue. She ended up saying “never mind” to dessert. In closing, we ALL have bad days, but if you lack the restraint to control yourself in front of paying customers, you should not work directly with customers. Also, the customer is always right, (go ask the manager or chef about the salmon/tuna). Lastly, if you want to maximize your profit at an ethnic restaurant in America, those taking orders and answering questions should be fluent enough to do so completely, or be sales-minded enough to get someone who is when they are having trouble with a particular communication.Did I mention a bug was crawling on my white sauce dish?Kabuki might be a bit more expensive, but their food and customer service are near perfect, and better than Ichiban’s many times over. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for.
