Awesome get away!!! Highly recommend for a family outing.

The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because I had zero cell service at my campsite. ? Were it not for that, an outstanding camping experience! The campgrounds are extensive and beautiful, especially by the river! The pool area is also very scenic. The restrooms and showers were very clean.The ladies in the office were very kind and helpful! Plus, I had a totally level campsite, something I rarely experience. Very remote and all of the roads are dirt, so if that's not your thing, just be aware. They do have a nice golf course and extensive ATV trails. Plus peace and quiet and lots of stars at night!

Golfing was good for us non serious golfers, pool was cool with the small waterfall that then led to the large freshwater pool. Definitely cold at first, but then was real nice for doing laps after a work day.

It's a decent place if you don't mind being a bit isolated. There are plenty of ATV trails and opportunities to see wildlife. However, be prepared for absolutely no cell service until you reach the hill where the dump site and dumpsters are located. There are also no sewer facilities at the sites, which is manageable unless you're staying for an extended period. Additionally, there is no Wi-Fi or laundry available, and the nearest town for any necessities is over an hour away. That said, the scenery is absolutely beautiful.
