Moonshiners Steakhouse - Robbinsville

This place not only had great service but literally amazing food. One of the best burgers I’ve had in awhile. Thanks for the cold beer and welcoming us Indiana folk!

Our third time dining at Moonshiners...excellent once again. Came in with a party of 11, everyone was more than pleased with their choices. The ribeyes were tender and perfectly cooked, as were the filets...all accompanied with a nice bottle of red wine. One of our group had the pork chops, loved those too. We also had the ribs (yum! and one of the huge hamburgers. Make sure to try their green beans...fresh and taste like home-cooked. Crisp salads and some excellent yeast rolls round it all out. They can even accommodate those who need to eat gluten free! And let's not forget the always friendly service!! You will not be disappointed.

We were in Robbinsville for the week and any time we ate out we ate here. Food was delicious and the servers were great as well. Wish we had a place like this in Evansville, Indiana!!! Thanks for taking great care of us on our vacation.

We stopped by this restaurant on our last night in the area, just an hour before closing. I ordered steak, asparagus, and mashed potatoes. While I expected a larger portion given the price, the flavor was excellent, and the meal overall did not disappoint. The bartender was great, and I think the owner came over to chat with us at the end of our visit—he was really nice. It was a pleasant surprise to find a place with a bar in that area. They also have rooms on the property, so we'll definitely consider staying there next time we're in the area, which would allow us to walk over for a drink after a day of riding. I would definitely recommend this spot.

It didn't quite meet the 5-star mark for us. When we arrived without a reservation, the staff member seemed almost disappointed, but we assured him that waiting was no issue for us. The service was mediocre; I ended up sitting with an empty glass for quite a while and had to grab salt and pepper from the neighboring table because we couldn't find anyone to ask. From what I've read in other reviews, this doesn't seem typical, so perhaps it was just an off night. As for the burger, it was decent. It tasted fine—there was nothing wrong with it—but it wasn't anything exceptional or memorable either.
