The French fries were particularly noteworthy. Our waitress, Lucie, was outstanding. If you visit, be sure to ask for her. In a memorable moment during our meal, she accidentally knocked over a wine glass but promptly replaced it with more wine for everyone in our party. Thank you, Lucie, for making our dining experience so special.
Upon arriving at the restaurant, we found that all the tables with a view were taken. We decided to sit on the empty upstairs terrace, despite the waitress warning us of the possibility of rain. We ordered steaks and a bottle of wine, but due to windy conditions, we were unable to order the Fondu Vignerone. As the dark clouds approached, we quickly realized we needed to move inside to avoid the impending storm. The staff, particularly Kevin and Carolanne, were incredible in accommodating us and saving our evening. We were impressed by the quality and price of the food, finding it to be a gourmet meal at the price of a fast-food chain. The warm baguette bread with buttercream frosting and green onions was a standout. After this experience, we returned to Port d'Attache multiple times during our two-week stay at the marina, enjoying breakfasts, lunches, snacks, and dinners. The staff were always welcoming and appreciative, making our visits memorable. We recommend making a reservation, requesting a table with a view, and being generous with tipping the hardworking staff. The restaurant caters to families, friends, couples, and larger groups, making it suitable for various occasions. The Marcoux sisters have created a successful business, and we predict they will thrive for years to come. Kudos to the owners and staff for a wonderful dining experience.
Located right on Lac St Jean, this restaurant is a hidden gem. Our group enjoyed a bottle of wine and a variety of appetizers, all of which were delicious. Despite accidentally knocking over a wine glass, she promptly replaced it and even brought out extra wine for the entire party. Thank you, Lucie, for making our dining experience unforgettable.
Have seen the cook just coming from outdoors after smoking never washing hands and other boy in cook-shop trimming too some meat not washing hands after as just cleaning over apron work, 2 friends of me receiving their order with bad ingredients in, lacking part of and awful cooking of meat in burger; the view there is great but when we go somewhere to lunch, we hope too the lunch be the same
We ate there both nights. the food was great. very little English but we managed. it was the best caesar salad ever, and the pizza was superior. There also is the best ice cream bar right next door.
