This small town may be easy to miss, but it is worth the visit for its one-of-a-kind bar, Hanson's. Don't expect fancy cocktails or microbrews here - it's all about beer in a can, good stories, and a rich history. Hanson's is the place to ring the bell, play some dice for rounds, and enjoy events like the Kidder County Classic dirt bike race and truck pull. The owner, Bill Bender, will regale you with tales behind the bar's decor, which includes items from The Wall Street Journal, CBS Morning news, and even a town trebuchet. Hanson's is where genuine conversations happen, and where people from all over the world come to share in a memorable experience. So don't hesitate - hit the road and become a part of Hanson's story.
Amazing bar!!! Perfect for enjoying drinks while listening to awesome karaoke songs.
We loved it! It wasn’t open when we got there, but there was a sign to text the owner. We did, and the next thing we knew, he was opening the bar for us to see the marker. And he told us the history of the marker. It was a great stop if you happen to be in the area.
What a cool place, great music, cheap drinks, fantastic Pizza and now they have electronic pull tabs.
Great small town atmosphere and fun times. Centerfest 2018. We'll be back!
