Golden Chick - Robstown

I'm sorry but if it's to expensive to buy chicken strips then remove them off menu I ordered a 20 pc chicken strips family pack the chicken was cold and tough not to mention that I could probably thread a needle with how thin the strips were the gravy was watery and mash potatoes flavorless I spent forty dollars I should've just kept my money qnd cooked at home sorry but I will not be a repeat customer in the near future

I really Love this place! Prices have gone up but the food is worth it!

Food was ok. Service was what I expect from fast food places nowadays.

We don't have Golden Chick where we live, so we make it a point to stop at one when we travel. We won't be stopping at this one anymore though.The food wasn't bad but it wasn't Golden Chick good either. Half our strips were good size whole the other half were more batter than chicken. The service is pretty terrible too. It wasn't all out rude, but we got the impression that we were a bother. Also, and this one really irritated us, they won't give you the spice to add to the chicken. You order it with or without, but you cannot get it on the side to add the amount you want. This is the first time we encounter this.

Grumpy old lady working the window didn’t want to give us some ice after the sweet tea had melted the ice in the cup! This was a drive thru order so the ice had melted WHILE STILL IN THE STORE. Aside from that the chicken was thin, old and room temperature. Didn’t feel like arguing with an angry senior citizen so we just tossed it. Should have just kept driving and gotten something better in corpus ?
