Genuinely surprised by the service which had been attentive and swift until almost the end when then because of the number of guests started becoming a bit forgetful and sloppy. I wanted porcini mushrooms and I got them, plus we ordered a lot of other dishes which were honest and good. I had their Robinhood porterhouse which was huge and although decent was not particularly tender. Nice atmosphere sitting outside in a very green place with cooling from the hots of Rome and surroundings this summer. I paid a 275€ bill for 6 adults and 2 kids.

Disregard all reviews. This place is the ultimate if you want to eat well. Try the Trippa it is wonderful. Great quality for money. If in Rocca di Papà or even the Castelli this is a must try destination.

This is a typical countryside restaurant: do not expect to be waited on hand and foot but they will serve you in due time. No need to ask for the menu, they will tell you what they have and if you're lucky to be able to order the mushroom antipasti, then you're in for a treat: you will receive two different kinds of mushroom carpaccio and fried mushrooms as well. They are delicious. We ordered bottled wine, but locals seem to go for the house wine. They have great pasta dishes and their meat is nice and tender. We ordered filetto and it was cooked to perfection (my daughter only eats it rare). The desserts are also good, a special mention goes to la sbriciolata, which is great! Top it all off with a nice genziana digestivo, and you will undoubtedly sleep all the way back to rome! I have read some comments saying that the customers were urged to leave after lunch but this was not the case. We went to this restaurant twice and each time stayed until 5pm, if not later. Nobody made us feel unwanted, on the contrary, they were great. There is a garden with a few outdoor toys for kids to enjoy so that is a plus if you're travelling with kids. Just order half portions for the kids as they tend to be quite large! One thing is for sure, you will be leaving on a full belly!

Molto buono e anche per i celiaci. Buon risotto e genuino antipasto misto.
