Istanblue - Rochdale

This restaurant originally opened as a Turkish establishment, but is now operated by Pakistanis. Despite the name and appearance of the food, it is important to not be misled. While the kebabs may look appetizing, the quality of the ingredients used is questionable. The mince is mixed in unsanitary plastic buckets, and the overall hygiene of the kitchen is poor. On multiple occasions, I experienced gastrointestinal issues shortly after dining here. The quality of the food can vary greatly, as each cook has their own methods. The staff lack proper training and communication skills, often exhibiting rude and aggressive behavior. One individual who was sick with the flu was observed handling food without taking proper precautions.

Visited Istanblue today for a takeout. The wait wasnt too long however it was offputting seeing the chef dripping in sweat. Had pre ordered so just picked up the food and left. It wasn't great. The kebab and lamb chop didnt live up to standard. Wouldn't visit again.

This is a great spot to enjoy delicious Turkish and Pakistani cuisine. The prices are very affordable as well.

We are family of 6 that loves grill combos. Looking around through last few years we finally tried family sized mixed grill from istan blu. The portion is very generous, spiced lovely. Usually there are leftover for next day. Good mixture between spice and flavor and if you are not fancy of anything from that combo they are very happy to exchange for anything else. We tried there all other stuff, all was good, family sized mixed grill is our favourite.

Really like this place, nice and quick service, worth the h a try if you are in town or want to try something different, lovely staff plus free parking!
