However, the prices reflect a far superior experience… for example… £12.45 for 5 papadums and chutneys… wow! I appreciate that we are living in inflationary times, but the total bill was eye watering for a bang average, basic meal. Indifferent staff, disjointed crockery, furniture and decor…. It’s all a bit naff, but the icing on the cake was the unkempt guy walking in with his fried chicken takeaway sitting on the table next to us, brazenly unwrapping his food and tucking in while messing with his phone. Clearly knew (or was) the owner, but c’mon, what kind of image does this present??
This is the best indian restaurant you will be at ,staff are amazing and the food is fabulous, really enjoy eating here ,dishes are always so different with tastes and very yummy
This restaurant used to serve the most amazing tasting food. During lockdown we have ordered takeout three times and each time we had to collect from the takeaway next door and although being reassured that the same chef/cooks were making them, this was definitely not the case. Obviously they didn’t want to bother opening their own kitchen because they couldn’t have customers dining in, so they allowed next door to cook the food. No doubt they came to a financial arrangement with them. Anyhow, food was substandard so we now won’t go to the restaurant either
I had an amazing meal at this restaurant. The chicken naga was incredibly spicy and delicious. The staff appeared to genuinely enjoy their work, as they interacted with customers in a friendly and professional manner. I will definitely be returning soon.
I'm not sure what happened tonight at the restaurant!
