The Olive Tree Cafe - Rochdale

Shopping in Middleton and suddenly in need of a snack, thought we'd give this cafe a try and glad we did, the people who run it are really friendly and the food was nice, we had a cheese and chorizo pannini and a toastie which were both tasty and hot. Will definitely be going again.

I visited this restaurant for the first time this week and was very impressed. It is a fabulous authentic Spanish-themed café located upstairs in Middleton Arndale. From the decor to the delicious food that is served, this café is definitely worth a visit. They have a varied menu, offering full meals as well as lunch time snacks. The prices are reasonable and they even have a kid's menu. The manager was very friendly and being from Colombia adds to the authenticity of the place. I loved it and will definitely be visiting again to make it my afternoon Spanish experience.

Hidden Gem is a term that is often overused when it comes to restaurants, but it truly applies to The Olive Tree Cafe. Located on the top floor of Middleton Arndale, this place may be a bit hard to find, but it is definitely worth the search. The food is prepared by a talented Spanish chef who is sure to be running a more upscale restaurant in the future. For now, take advantage of his fantastic dishes at incredibly low prices (my companion and I enjoyed a delicious lunch with two coffees for just £6 £7). The Paella, Spanish Meatballs, and Chili Con Carne are all must-try dishes (trust me, you'll want to come back for more). The full breakfast is also outstanding, surpassing anything you can find in Middleton (you'd have to visit Bury Market for something of similar quality). If you're in Middleton or nearby, be sure to visit the Arndale and give The Olive Tree Cafe a try, you won't be disappointed.

We had a difficult time finding a place to eat on a Saturday night two weeks before Christmas, but we stumbled upon this restaurant. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. We would definitely return.
