Abbott's Frozen Custard - Rochester

We LOVE the location of Abbott. It has done a wonderful work, the central Brighton for several years with great Abbott quality. We often visit during the season and the staff are always polite and efficient. Try a corridor if you want a special treat.

The best spot for ice cream! The custard is fantastic! I absolutely love this place. I highly recommend the strawberry shortcake!

This cozy spot offers a great meeting place with plenty of parking available. It's open seasonally from April to October, generally until 10 or 11 PM. They serve generous portions of ice cream in cones or cups, available in three sizes, along with daily flavor specials. In addition to ice cream, they offer pints, sandwiches, turtle desserts, and novelty ice cream items. The young staff is friendly and welcoming.

The best custard I've ever had! As far as I know, they also serve ice cream. Some of our favorites include Cake Batter, Cotton Candy, Black Raspberry, Mounds, and Butterscotch. The staff and owners are incredibly friendly, and if there's a flavor you'd like to try, just let them know in advance, and they'll be happy to prepare some pints for you! Can you ever go wrong with Abbott’s? Though they don’t seem to be producing as many flavors as when I was a kid (coffee flavor! you can never go wrong with vanilla in a waffle cone with chocolate sprinkles. There is a reason Abbott’s has been in business in the Rochester area for so long. If you haven’t tried their frozen custard put it on your to do list for this summer!!!
