Chef King - Rochester

I haven't been to Chef King for over 10 years. The Chinese places in Henrietta seem to be getting worse, but I was always impressed by my order. The pork pork rice had a lot of pork in it (China garden is pretty vaccinated with it) and the lo mine was also quite good. The egg rolls were a bit fat and it looks like they used old oil, but it wasn't half bad. The Hunan chicken had a nice kick.

We've been here for 20 years. Love your house special Lo mine and don't give me Issye who doesn't require shrimp. Great beef on a stick and an astonishing soup is always on the point.

My place for delicious Chinese food! So many of my favorite dunes in places have changed management over the past 10 years, and not for the better. But they're still the best. This tiny, family-run and operated Filialfront brings everything they have in every bite. When I'm sick, I always get quads of their Won-Ton soup, loaded with large won tons and seasoned pork in a rich, tasty chicken broth (not only a few small won tons swim in the burden of weak or soy sauce-sweet broth). I had so many of her entrees and appetizers, and they're always good. They are very friendly people and do everything they can absorb. Highest recommendation.

Have you ordered several times and it is by far one of the best Chinese food places in the Henrietta area. I had liked Shanghai in this area, and now I have a new approach! The food is wonderfully fresh (NOT usual with Chinese restaurants around here, haha and tastes great. The sauces are tasteful, and the dishes taste as you also want them, not like most places here, the dishes bear the taste of day old roasted oil. I especially enjoyed the deep fried scallops! Perfect crispy and delivered to me hot and fresh. I also tried the Lo Mein-Pork and shrimp, and it was very good, and good amounts of food for what you pay. I also tried the spring rolls (very good, sesame chicken (big! Wonderful taste and freshness, and veggie roasted rice. I have to say I usually give every broccoli away in my courts because it's a thing I really can't stand so good or overcooked. My sesame chicken was served on a bed of broccoli, which was perfectly cooked, not soggy or brown, and the vegetable rice actually has good size pieces of broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, onions, etc in it. In the end, I had the same driver with me twice, and he was very friendly and punctual. All in all, very impressed and will definitely recommend to friends : .

My husband I rarely deviate from our usual Asian restaurant, but after trying this for the 1st time today, we may be switching it up. Everything was great, from the crab rangoon, Singapore noodles, Sweet Sour chicken, chicken wings that we had, were all phenomenal. The lady running the place was also very kind and polite (and quick). We will definitely be back!
