Enjoyed the variety of food choices. Food was well prepared, surroundings were clean and venue was bright. Didn’t have to deal with a management attitude where you need to remind the wait staff for salt/pepper, napkins and appropriate condiments normally expected with your meal. This attitude seems to be prevalent in the Rochester area.
Nothing exotic. The same thing over and over. The only advantage is the food is ready to eat. Still over priced. Other places provide senior citizens discount from the age of 60. Here is 65. To bad.
So I typically do not write reviews but had to write this. If I could give a negative stars I really would give a -5. After paying for the food the cashier went over to the trash can blew his nose into the trash can only to go over to the food and hand the silverware without washing his hands. Literally most disgusting thing I've seen. They definitely lost me as a customer.
Atmosphere: Typical Chinese Buffet with Koy pond and all. Some stock and boxes laying around the place. Soft music. Lighting was dinner setting, so not too bright. Waiters/waitresses are attentive. Never had to ask for refills. Plates cleared quickly. Had to request chopsticks, but were given them very quickly. Same with salt, pepper, and extra napkins.Food: Didn 't have any problems with usual buffet issues. Nothing overly dried out, nor nasty looking. It was dinnertime, so they kept up decently with stocking the buffet lines. A fee too many American options for my liking, but that 's my preference. They did have some sushi out, but it was gone pretty quickly. Label, and I can not stress this enough, are entirely lacking! It took a bit to figur out what and where some of the sauces were. Some of the food was hard to figure out without labels as well, but should be deciphered simply if you eat Chinese foods enough. The fried calamari they had out was a little chewy and tough, but we chalked that up to being out too long(probably because most don 't eat it).Price: It was decent for what we got. Two all you can eat meals, and hot tea...$45.Overall: Would reccomend, especially if you like Chinese food and want to eat a lot of it. One star off for lack of labels, food(my pickyness), boxes/stock laying around, and having to ask for certain things. Been to this buffet before, and will be back again.
