Feedback gevenFood is good and I like how they converted the diner instead of building a new building. Employees, managers, and owners are friendly. Vegetarian options: They have a couple vegetarian options, but not too many. Parking: Plenty of parking all around the building. When you exit it is easiest to drive behind the neighboring gas station to get back on to Rte.11 at the light, especially if headed south.
A lot of effort went into building this place, and it shows. The bar itself is huge, which suggests the type of clientele the place is looking for. We ate at about 1:00 PM and the place was fairly empty. The servers were efficient but not overly friendly. The CARNITAS were fantastic, as was the grilled shrimp salad, but they were both outliers to the main menu. They served only one type of N/A beer (Hienekin Zero) but did not serve traditional Mexican non alcoholic drinks (frescas, horchatas). The server said that the menu was influenced by the State of Jalisco in Mexico, but they did not make berria, which is the most delicious and most famous beef dish from that region. The menu was mostly burritos, quesadillas, nachos (only 2 taco dishes) with a few more traditional meals thrown in all to generate great thirst in the New England Client hence the giant bar. Overall, not bad, but I was raised in the Southwest US and can say that these guys have the ABILITY to offer wonderful Mexican cuisine to an ignorant population. It 's just a waste of talent and a shame that they would rather make an easy buck getting ignorant folks drunk than helping expand their brilliant cultural heritage.
Lunch stop very fast service and meal on table quickly as well. Not that busy when we came late lunch. Had taco salad. Well cooked peppers and onions. Nice half taco shell.
The Cucumber margarita with chile powder was to DIE FOR. Enchiladas and tacos generous and delicious, and the price was more reasonable than any restaurant I've been to in recent memory. Go try it! The guacamole is really flavorful.
Each time we go I find a new plate of the most Mouth watering flavorful food. And the best margarita's to end the experience. Date night is made great with Juan our server. The staff is always smiling and happy. I've never left hungry or disappointed.
