Lone Oak Ice Cream - Rochester

The wait wasn't too long, and the staff was really friendly and accommodating. I decided to try something different: coffee heath bar frozen yogurt. It was absolutely delicious!

This is the best place in the world to get ice cream, and the staff is incredibly friendly! One of the girls even told me it’s the best job she’s ever had.

I just discovered this place, and it's fantastic! The ice cream is incredible and comes in huge servings. I'll definitely return next time I'm in the area.

Good selection of flavors. I had rum ray, my son had chocolate and my friend, she had a sun bench with black raspberry. All were good. Just the question that ice quickly melted as soon as it was served. I had to wipe the table with napkins and towels. The tables had plastic cladding, making it easy to clean. My little portion looked like a big one! Many tables and parking. Service was good. I recommend a visit.

We just learned about this place and so glad we made it! It is really a great place to go whether you are a local looking for a treat or a fast (depending on waiting) meal, or when you visit/pass through. They are so efficient with a tight ship and the staff is so super friendly they get people fast, but they are popular and can be very busy. The place is so clean, and I just love that- the tables are clean and regularly cleaned, which are not taken everywhere usual or for granted. They have several windows for their ice cream, because it is fresh on site homemade ice cream and so, so ingenious. The food, whether it's what you're looking for is perfect - we're big foods, and I mean that. They have a small menu and they do it well. We agree that these pommes are the best we have in years, everywhere, and that goes for regular and sweet potato. We personally love the squid sandwich because it is fresh, perfect fried and perfect, fluffy fish. The Burger I mean, honestly, it's about the best burgers we've ever had, and far better than any Fast Food Burger you'll get. Finally, but not least, they have a wonderful and large outdoor seating area (it is all outdoor seating here) and it is so pleasant and shaded by trees and simply wonderful-you will not be disappointed, go here.
