Main Street Deli - Rochester

I’ve passed by this place numerous times while growing up and had no idea it was actually a sandwich shop! This was my second visit, and I can confidently say the meat is top-notch. The first time I had their Reuben, and this time I opted for the Roast Beef sandwich. Both times were takeout, and they were incredibly generous with the meat. The photo is of the Roast Beef sandwich (#30), which I highly recommend if you appreciate a substantial sandwich—I'm definitely a fan! I would rate the atmosphere higher if I could dine inside to enjoy my meal. I will definitely be returning to try more of their offerings!

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The owners and staff were incredibly kind and friendly. The food was outstanding – the pitas and club sandwiches are the best I've ever tasted! The portion sizes are generous, too. This is a truly special place, and I highly recommend it!

I'm really conflicted about this review. When it’s open, this place used to be the perfect deli. Unfortunately, it now feels run-down, the service is underwhelming, and the sandwiches aren’t worth the cost. I genuinely hope the management can improve things or consider selling the business. Rochester really needs a good deli!

Absolutely one of the true Gems of Rochester MI. Love the owners. They are so friendly and a perfect memory. Food is perfect. Never anything negative to say about that any day. When they are not out of it the german potato salad is the best ever. A must go to for a great lunch or light dinner. But they are only open late 1 day a week. But they are worth the wait. My wife loves their chicken salad sandwich. I always order the Pastrami Reubens. 100 thumbs up.
