I wanted to give them a try, I don't wish. the wings were so small that I made sure to bite my finger. I feel there were more flesh on my finger. 12.99 for the order of complete sweat. perris will never get my business again.
PS Perris has decent Pizza wings when ignorant employees aren't killing the deal before an order's placed. Perri's on Lyell Gates, NY I called in a order, but the little **** on the other end didn't sound too happy a customer was calling in an order an hour before closing.. Or maybe he was having a bad day I don't know, I don't care, unacceptable either way. His tone was obvious and he knows it. I called him out on it and asked what his friggin problem was.. He knows he was being a jerk and he got what he wanted since I committed calling him out, I wasn't about to take a chance of him doing something foul to my food.. Mike D.
This was my go to pizza place. I really like their food and have been a loyal customer. Even though there is another pizza restaurant right down the street from my home and others close by, I would drive the ten minutes to Perri's, because it was worth it. So, why the bad review? I am giving them only one star and I am no longer supporting their business because of my experience last night. I ordered pizza and wings online and went to pick up the order. When, I got there, the counter person who took care of me had a mask on but it wasn't covering her nose, just her mouth. Another man in the back, cooking, had a mask around his chin. A third young man came out from the back, also with a mask around his chin. WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC! The numbers here in Rochester have been on the rise for over a week. It has been proven that masks help to stop the spread of Covid. I am 100 about supporting small businesses and local businesses. I always have been. And, I know how much the restaurant industry has been hurting. I try to get takeout from restaurants as often as I can to help them thru this difficult time. However, I will no longer support ANY business that does not take this seriously and does not take the VERY SIMPLE measure of wearing a mask properly. If you do not care about the health of your customers and your staff, then I don't care about your business, either. UPDATE: I just spoke with the Manager of that location. He and the owner had just been discussing my review, in fact. And, I will say that I was impressed about his response and I will, at some point, give Perri's another chance. He let me know that they do take the pandemic very seriously and that they are implementing new guidelines procedures to make sure that both customers and staff are kept safe. It is completely understandable that you can't be at a business all the time, watching everything and you can't watch every employee every minute. And, it is a difficult and stressful situation for all. He assured me that they are taking this seriously and i have no reason to not believe him. So, I will try Perri's again, because I LOVE their food. And, if it's all okay, in terms of safety, I know I will change my rating to 5 stars.
I ordered a New York style thin crust cheese pizza delivered by Grub Hub and it was fast and delicious!
Great thin crust pizza,fresh toppings, friendly staff. They have a few outdoor tables ,eat in or take out.
