Tides Fish Market - Rochester

We went to this fish market for the first time. we bought local flounder and Ahi grade tuna. Both we're terrible. the flounder was mushy and the tuna was so tough, it was inedible. We thought the prices were great. Now we know why.

Get your seafood here! Always fresh, and they will special order for you, too. I’ve been getting my seafood here several years now, and it’s so much better in freshness and quality than the local grocery stores. Owned and operated by a very nice family. A local gem and well worth the brief extra stop when running errands.

Having this fresh fish market in the area is such a treat. Great service and great product.

Placed and order for Lobster meat and a to go box. Ended up canceling 15 minutes later when I saw how much it was going to cost to ship. Spoke to whoever the young lady was on the phone and told her exactly why I was canceling. Well Saturday rolls around and I get a call (no message) I was at a wedding so I didn 't pick up. Sunday rolls around and I get a call from the owner he stated that he had lobster meat packed in a ship to go box for me and why had I not picked it up. I explained that I had called right back to cancel the order. He got very nasty with me and when I tried to tell him that I would be happy to come up and get the order anyway he hung up on me!! With that said, I have done a lot of business with them over the years and had fully intended on picking up seafood for my next trip but after this I will never purchase from them again. To treat people so rudely is not how a business should be acting towards their customers.

The Lobster Roll was just delicious, atmosphere was open, prices reasonable for the day. Second time here and will definitely return.
