Fresh Oriental - Rochford

I tried ordering fresh for the first time and it was a nice, tasty meal. Everything tasted really fresh.

We ordered five dishes tonight and each one was disappointing. The duck had only crispy skin and no meat, the chicken balls were overcooked and tasted processed, the satay was watery and undercooked, and the chips were burnt and tasted like cardboard. We have been ordering from this Chinese restaurant for years, but tonight will be our last visit.

In our opinion, the food quality at this restaurant is extremely poor. We could not bring ourselves to feed it to our children and instead took it back to Fresh Oriental to demonstrate why the standard was so bad. There was very little meat in the dishes, and everything seemed to be overly processed, full of sugar, fat, and dough. The duck was incredibly dry and the pancakes were stale. Unfortunately, this experience has not deterred us from trying local establishments, but it is disappointing that we can no longer support this particular restaurant.

I wouldn't even give this restaurant a review that it was so bad that the kalotte was like sticks from the floor or even as carton could be described it was dry and no taste the khow main was like spaghetti had no taste and was...dry the bark that I chew for minutes at the end and I didn't even have a goat in it it would be hard chew

And the meat bark was boiled beary, they could not even eat it squid was not even a squid more like the end of a baumes the sweet and acidic sauce was like jello chips were like mush the chow main was literally spaghetti and it. is insulting to feed it to her dog
