Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

This is the slowest Cracker Barrel I have ever experienced. Despite informing the waitress that we were in a hurry after waiting for 20 minutes with no service, it still took an hour to receive our appetizers and almost 90 minutes to get our food. There were only two of us dining and it was not busy. We arrived at 10:50.

The quality of food at this chain restaurant appears to be declining. The food was only lukewarm. However, the atmosphere and service were good.

I came in to have a meal with my wife for Thanksgiving from Fort Mill, they told me they had a limited menu, ok no problem. Overall, the food was ok...Here 's the issue...With my order we got to go sausage biscuits and gravy to take home...when we got home I ate one of the sausages and it was so off-putting and didn 't taste at all like real sausage and the texture was horrible. So I looked at the receipt and it said Impossible Sausage (2) which is there vegetarian soy sausage ... which I have an allergy too...so I immediately threw it away...But here 's the real issue, I called to get a refund, the person on the phone said Well it 's because they were out of real sausage ...??? So in other words you gave me the veggie sausage on purpose, because of the limited menu, without even telling me. If we had known or been told this, we wouldn 't have ordered it. tbh pretty dangerous, and we won 't be back.

Rarely have I gone to a Cracker Barrel and had a bad experience. But this visit was the rare occurrence. Ordered fish and turkey with white sauce. After waiting a beat for the meals, I was told they were out of fish. Then the turkey was served with brown sauce not white. Management tried to recoup for mistakes. I’ll just chalk up this store for just having a bad hair day!

Food was. Cold. Biscuits were hard. Waitress never did bring any fresh ones. Greens were only a table spoon waitress did bring some more service was not good. 15 min to get our tea. Not a good day No return for
