DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!! Me and my wife decided to try this place based on the reviews, what we DID NOT know was this place changed ownership 2 months ago! It's not the same people that EARNED those good reviews!The employees act like they're all brand new and do not have a clue.....they tried to being out the appetizer we ordered AFTER the main dishes were out....our main order had to be corrected TWICE...and they don't even serve SWEET TEA!!!It was obvious most of our food had been reheated and it wasn't even edible.Then to top off this horrible experience, when we got the bill we had been up charged for 3 items that were included in the meals on the menu.I'm not overly picky at restaurants but this was just horrible.So please....only pay attention to the reviews in the past 2 months!! This place is not L&S anymore...it's LaRocca.

Great little dinner. Came here for breakfast, the meat lovers skillet was fabulous and the pancakes were great too. Our server Kyla was an awesome server. She was very friendly, quick and knew what we needed before we even asked for it!! Thanks again, we will def. Be back!!

As noted in some other reviews, L&S has recently changed ownership. I visited for dinner on Friday, April 8th, and upon entering, I was initially uncertain if they were open due to the older yet charming decor. I ordered the pot roast, which was quite delicious. However, I would suggest using less gravy on both the pot roast and mashed potatoes. Overall, I would recommend dining here. Although there was only one server, she managed the three occupied tables with a friendly demeanor and prompt service. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem, so be sure to stop by and greet the new owner!

One of the most hidden gems in rock hill for breakfast...the menu is great , it's packed with homestyle southern meals..the location is apart of a hotel..its definitely a treat to there and eat

We ordered the open-faced roast beef dinner with fried okra—though it looked like shaved deli meat, my elderly father declared it the best restaurant meal he has ever had! I enjoyed a turkey dinner that was just as incredible, although I found myself wishing for a little cranberry sauce on the side. For dessert, we shared a bowl of broccoli soup, which was enormous and delicious. While the decor may not be fancy, they more than compensate with outstanding service and the quality of their homestyle cooking, reminiscent of grandma's kitchen. My suggestion is that they consider offering $10 coupons to nearby hotels to attract more customers—this place deserves to be busy! When we visited, we were only one of two tables filled. I truly hope this gem can thrive!
