Salsarita's Fresh Mexican Grill

I absolutely love the food here! It truly tastes like authentic, fresh Mexican cuisine, and the portion sizes are quite generous. Update: The food and service continue to be excellent during the pandemic. However, I do recommend keeping an eye on the cashier. On Sundays, kids eat free, but they often try to charge you anyway. We just need to ensure that the discount is applied.

To celebrate my daughter's birthday, she received a free birthday burrito, so we decided to place our order via the app on Sunday, August 21, 2022. Unfortunately, there was a glitch that added several items to our checkout. We tried to cancel the order immediately, but we were unable to do so. Within two minutes, I called the restaurant to explain the situation. A female employee answered the phone, simply stating, "Moe's." I informed her about the app error, but she said they had already started preparing our order. I reiterated that I had ordered three burritos, one of which should have been free. Instead of the expected total of $19.72, the order total had risen to nearly $40. This was incorrect, and I requested either a correction or cancellation of the order. She insisted that the order was already in progress, so I reiterated that I wanted it canceled. After a moment, a male employee picked up the phone without introducing himself and repeated that they had begun making the order. I still couldn't understand why they were so focused on this point when the issue was that they had made an order I did not want, due to the additional items added. I asked once more to cancel, and he said he couldn't do that but would issue a refund. After I thanked him, he abruptly hung up. Eight days later, I still had not received the promised refund of $37.81, so I disputed the charge with my bank to get my money back. Thankfully, I documented the call and have a record of the transaction. Given this experience, I will not place orders through the app or visit this location again.

The food was good, and there are healthy options on the menu. A couple of items were missing from my order, but I would definitely consider dining here again.

They make their on thin tortilla chips, with very good salsa. Her grilled chicken chocolates are some of the best. Make sure you have your app. Good for always points and special offers.

First time at Salsarita's. My first impression was how clean everything was, from the dining room to the serving line it was spotless! The drink machine was clean and the whole area with straws lids and napkins was neat and organized.. The ladies stayed busy cleaning up the tables, spot sweeping the floors and getting all the dirty trays back to the kitchen. The food was very good...so many protein choices and all the items were extremely fresh. However, I was surprised it was so pricey...don't go there if you're looking for Taco Bell prices! Of course at Salsarita's the ladies make your food right in front of you exactly the way you want it....same concept as Subway. All the ladies behind the line were so so friendly and very helpful talking me through the construction of my 3 tacos! It was great food and great service... an excellent experience !
