Best food ever!!!, my favorite place in Morris county.
We decided we wanted Indian food, but weren’t sure of what dishes; so , seeing Indian Aroma had a buffet, we gave it a shot. The restaurant was clean, well lit and had ample but well separated seating. The staff was pleasant and greeted us warmly, and were very attentive to our needs. The buffet was a little limited, but given we’re in the midst of the omicron surge, it wasn’t surprising. What we tasted from the buffet was delicious… the samosas, and other appetizers were not greasy, and had a nice taste. The mango chicken was tasty and had a mild heat. The chicken tikka masala had a nice creamy sauce with a good balance of spice. My wife particularly enjoyed the goat curry. The Golub jamun were a hit, not too sweet, nice texture and a solid flavor. Equally enjoyed was my daughter’s mango lasse. We have added Indian Aroma to our list of favorites.
I love Indian food and have eaten at many high quality Indian restaurants. This does not come close to authentic Indian food. We ordered chicken tiki masala, fish curry, samosa, and garlic naan. The chicken tiki masala was yellow colored, which I’ve never seen before, and bland. The fish curry was watered down and barely edible. Also, the naan was rubbery and not fresh as well as the Samosa. I’m not big on reviews but I’m not happy I spent $50 on such a bad meal, and if I didn’t live 30 mins away, I would have returned the food!
Food was Ok,not very good if you know the Indian couise very well. The soups I ordered was not prepared fresh.Other items we tasted were good.Price was reasonable too..
