Banksia Bistro - Rockdale

I finally had the chance to dine at the Bistro after a friend raved about the meals they had posted about numerous times. I thoroughly enjoyed our choices - the dishes were full of flavor and the portions were generous. The standout dishes for me were the chicken salad and the greens with cheese appetizer (which consisted of asparagus and broccolini). I also particularly enjoyed the lettuce side that accompanied the barramundi - it was simply drizzled with a delicious dressing that enhanced its taste. I highly recommend this restaurant as it exceeded my expectations.

The food is delightful, clearly made with care by a passionate chef. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. You wouldn't guess you were dining at a pub. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. I will definitely return with my family.

We had an excellent lunch at Banksia Bistro. The chicken schnitzel was cooked perfectly and the chilli mayo was just the right amount of spice. The pulled pork bun, a special for the day, was also delicious. The restaurant had clean, fresh surroundings with a pleasant atmosphere. We highly recommend it and will definitely be returning.

Good food. The beef cheeks were amazing!!! so soft and delicious with a good amount of jus. had a few bites of my husband's chicken schnitzel i usually don't like chicken schnitzel but this was one was an exception. very lovely!

Another great family get together at the Banksia roomy and open, clean surrounds ideal for all ages of the family, complimented with great pub food. Staff, both in the restaurant and the bar, were efficient and pleasant. Couldn't ask for more!
