Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Rockford

Awesome food, a bit pricey but very well worth it, I will definitely be back when I'm back in the area

First time I’ve been here and for the price it’s pretty disappointing. 3 of the 4 pieces of brisket were nothing but fat and not edible. They forgot items that came with the meals.

The place look good but you cannot have barbecue out of a bag... There's no barbecue smell, there's no barbecue taste, there's no barbecue smoke, good Lord what,waste.......... Make the most out of it the words that I'm saying having saying what I'm saying is that have you ever had barbecue before even indoor BBQ..... The cost is somewhat reasonable but the taste is not there and it does seem like you're eating barbecue, you're eating you're eating something out of the refrigerator that was froze you're eating something that somebody is imagining that yeah okay we're barbecuing over here.. oops in here. I apologize if I offended somebody, or anybody. Sometime you never get what you pay for you get what something that somebody else says hyped up. Thanks but no thanks....... And enjoy the rest of your day.

Super disappointed ! Have been here enough to know that this isn’t acceptable! My husbands fries literally looked like the dunked them back into the oil to reheat or somthing they were nasty ! And both of our sandwiches were literally COLD COLD. Like the meat was cold and the bun was cold it was so bad. We didn’t eat any of our food. We went to try to go up and tell the worker but they were no where to be found. We stood up at the counter for 9 minutes waiting for someone to come up they never did. So we ate nothing wasted our money. Super disappointed as I usually enjoy coming here :

Food was not ready on time and when we got it back and opened it up it was 50% fat and inedible. Flavor was good, but for $20 I expected a bit more meat, this was a two meat plate with 2 orders brisket.
