Generous portions were the norm for all at our table but the pancakes were doughy and undercooked, the hollandaise sauce was tasteless and one of us was left without a drink for almost the entire meal.
I ate here on a Monday night, and it was pretty quiet (probably not half full). It took about 40 minutes from ordering to get my pizza. The pizza was quite nice, but shame about the slow service.
First day in Rocky. Staying at The Edge Apartments so decided to try their restaurant. Not again. Service was friendly and prompt. Food was good, except that there was a paper label in amongst my son's bacon; and at first I thought there was no butter for my toast in the meal I ordered. The butter did eventually appear; it was buried between the bacon, the mushrooms and the pot of baked beans. Then when I went to use it, it was so melted that it exploded over my shirt. At that point I was very keen to meet whoever had plated my meal; but satisfied myself by complaining and getting our drinks for free. But I wont be going back.
We had our daughters 17th birthday here and knew we would return. Great service on arrival. Prompt. Food was fantastic.
Lunch was excellent, we ordered grilled sandwiches that came with chips and salad, the portions are huge (for me) but really yummy and tasty and not expensive, the prices are reasonable and good quality for a nice venue, the atmosphere is lovely and with a view to the Fitzroy river. Service excellent. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it.
