My Place By The Sea - Rockport

For comparison purposes, I ate on the deck with my family 2 summers ago, and ordered a lobster roll on a baguette, and it was massive and photo-worthy! I believe it was $38 at the time. Last week I was with my best friend on the same deck. I ordered a lobster roll. I was given the choice of the baguette $55) or the chowder roll, $45). Foolishly, I opted for the second choice, and the lobster roll was the size of a quarter pounder from McD 's, with a disappointing amount of lobster. I will never quibble over prices for menu options I choose, but will keep this experience in mind for future referrals.

My wife and I wanted to enjoy Wednesday 's Hump Night food and cocktails, but the music genre is such a mismatch for this location. A rapidly bass beating tune over and over at a loud volume is so distracting we elected not to go. This was our go-to spot at one point in time, but it is impossible to make a reservation, the hours are so inconsistent, and the obnoxious music takes this place off our must-go list.

Well worth the journey, it 's a quaint, fun seafood spot. Between the ocean life of boats and marine birds, dj Maverick plus upcoming fireworks, the season 's hump days should be a blast here to pull up and dance. I look forward to trying some of the unique options on the drinks menu next visit. The entire staff participate in the inclusive atmosphere, providing excellent, hospitable service. Last evening as the stars came out, I enjoyed a crisp, fresh summer salad with sliced figs, peaches, raspberry and tangerine on romaine lettuce on the terrace, like a room without a roof, at the picturesque coast of Rockport. There you feel like happiness is the truth

My wife and I had went there and unfortunately I had a medical episode months ago. The owners and staff performed above and beyond. We recently returned and were given the best quality food and service. I would highly recommend going to My Place by the Sea. Many thanks to the owners and staff.

On the first sunny day in a long time we decided to go to Rockport. Past all the shops at the end of the point was this little surprise. So unassuming in the outside but a lovely menu. Nothing was too inconvenient for them. The waitress was lovely and very knowledgeable. The food was delicious, the chowder outstanding! Would highly highly recommend!
