Amalfi Italiano - Rockville

Amalfi's is permanently closed. It seems they forgot to inform you.

The restaurant was not open when we arrived, and I am not sure why it was listed on the website.

I would have given Amalfi a much higher rating if I had been able to dine there. Unfortunately, despite having a confirmed reservation for 6:30 PM on Jan. 6, the restaurant was closed when I arrived. It was disappointing to see that others had experienced the same issue. The new owners should improve their communication and availability.

The restaurant is closed for renovations by new owners. However, they are still listed on Open Table and taking reservations, leading to confusion for customers like us who showed up expecting to eat there on Friday night. It is important for the new owners to address this issue promptly to avoid further inconvenience for customers.

We had a confirmed reservation on 1/5 at 6 pm and found out that the restaurant was closed!!! We now understand that the new Amalfi has not yet started its operations... Sorry for the meaningless rating above but that was the only way to reach this box and express our frustration. I tried before to contact Open Table but only found a box for chatting with a computer and went nowhere. Quite upsetting.
