Bonchon Seven Hills - Rockville

We truly like Korean double fried chicken but for some reason everytime we give this place another try it fails to impress. The lady who came to correct the order they did wrong gave me an attitude like I did something wrong. The other usually comes without sauce and if u want sauce you click where it states that.. and why when you get a small amount of chicken or a lot of chicken you only get one small container of the radish. Shouldn?t the more chicken you order you get more radish so your party can share the radish. I guess it is better to pay alittle more and go to the other. Not only that but after she remade the appetizer she lectured me. Why does a customer need that at the end. If you?re wrong you?re wrong and that?s it.

Their menu is kinda of the pricer side. I had their Seafood fried rice and it was difficult to find seafood in it. There weren't a lot of people in the restaurant. The servers were nice but I can get much better food from other places for such price.

I stopped by for lunch and found it to be decent, though nothing extraordinary. The portion sizes were alright for lunch, but I felt that the amount of protein was somewhat lacking. For instance, the tteokbokki was mostly sauce and onions, with not much rice cake. The wings were okay—fresh, but a bit dry and not saucy enough.

The chicken katsu and coleslaw were delicious, and I definitely can't forget about the fries. While enjoying my meal, I noticed an eyebrow on one of the chicken katsu strips. Overall, the food was great, but I had to give it just 1 star because finding hair in food really ruins the experience. I notified server team 1 about it, but unfortunately, no manager came over to apologize. I did show the waiter, Mike, the eyebrow I found.

It was my first time trying this type of chicken, and I was really impressed. The wings had a fantastic crunch and flavor, ranking among the best I've ever had. The service was outstanding, especially for a fast-casual restaurant.
