It appears that the dumplings are often the focus, while other menu items don't get as much attention. I didn't try the dumplings; instead, I ordered the Crispy Beef and Hot and Sour soup. The soup was delicious, though I expected a bit more for the $2.50 price tag. The Crispy Beef was good, but the portion felt small for $14.95, especially compared to similar dishes at other local restaurants.
The dumplings were delicious! We had the momos and the shrimp dumplings, and we absolutely loved the momos. We also tried the scallion pancakes and the black pepper beef, both of which were tasty. The service was friendly, too. The portions for the dumplings were generous, priced at around $10 each.
I really love China Bistro and have been a regular visitor for several years. They offer outstanding handmade dumplings that you can order uncooked, steamed, or pan-fried for just an extra dollar. Their noodles, cold noodle dishes, and salads are all excellent, although sometimes they can be a bit heavy on the salt. My favorite dumpling flavors are the fish cilantro, shrimp chive, and Mama’s Special. I do wish they offered more protein options like tofu, chicken, or lamb. Dining there can be a bit of a hit or miss due to the service not always being great. However, during the pandemic, I typically opted for simpler meals. Their website makes it easy to place orders through BeyondMenu, which is pretty straightforward. Plus, the prices are very reasonable!
I have always loved this place for delicious cheap dumplings for which they are known. Your other food items do not shine so much, so if you come here, order the dumplings!!! The Chive pancakes are also great!
Best dumplings in area, delicious and straightforward comfort food. I come here with a good friend every other month or so—it’s our go to spot for dumplings and dinner staples.
