Hot Pot Legend - Rockville

The most positive boilers near Rockville. The boiling is very strong. Food is widely distributed.

Hotpot Legend is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Rockville. I haven't been there for a while, since google map says the restaurant is temporarily closed. I hope everything is okay!

I have not been here since the pandemic restricted my going for eat in dining. But htisis hands down the best hot pot around. Their broths are superb with the pickled cabbage, the ma la spicy broth and the herbal pork broth all very good, Great selection of veggies, noodles, tofu products, and meatballs. But I always love their sausages: the typical small whole sausages most hot pot places offer and slices of a more kielbasa style sausage. Really nice people too. I can't wait to go back after the pandemic is under control.

Service was exceptional and so was the food. The broth was outstanding and the ingredients were top notch. Definitely worth a try.

Hot Pot Legend is like a watered down version of The Melting Pot the staff was not friendly nor attentive. My parents had never been to a restaurant like this, and not one single employee explained the menu, or how the process worked. It took over 20 minutes just to order drinks. We had 4 children at the table with us, and not once did they check in with us during the actual meal. The entire dining experience for a party of 7 took almost 2 full hours. The food was bland, at best. I realize it is a newly opened restaurant, but this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time.
