Clean and fresh seafood with delicious cocktail! Love the food here. Will come back.
I want to say what a awesome delicious and clean restaurant! The staff was wonderful and really enjoyed the food. The fish was so fresh! Very fairly priced!!
Went late, so the order was placed in a rush. Drinks wack pure alcohol no flavor. The boil was good just needed fresh crab legs n more sauce. The crab cake though was fantastic.
A surprise “find” in a local LI neighborhood that we used to go to fairly often, years ago. Obviously, with time comes change, so as we were driving around trying to find one of the old time faves, unsuccessfully as we didn’t quite want to revisit some of “the old time faves” we turned a corner and came across this interesting name. And there was parking nearby. One look through the storefront was enough to convince us to go in and check it out. Quite an amazing spot: they serve oodles of crab and sundry fried fishy stuff, all accompanied by wine, beers and superb tropical cocktails all the gastronomic faves one needs. The ambiance is cheerful, and inviting. The place was pretty full and buzzing, for a Wednesday night. It’s always good to go into that kind of vibe, where folks are eating and having fun, though I don’t quite remember just why we were out there on a working day.... The bar, to the left as you enter, is inviting and well stocked with some superb wines if only one can have them all ! and does some creative and attractive cocktails…. My choice of Frozen Voodoo Juice irresistible name, that ! was just the right poison for the night, and reasonably priced at $12. My wife had a chilled Chardonnay, which worked for her. The Crispy Calamari starter $12 went down well with the drinks, though we had to soak some of the grease off on our napkins. For our mains: Crab Meat Fried Rice 15 and The Boil, which comes sort of as-you-like-it a la carte, where one can choose various options and sizes and its priced accordingly $20 for me and $14 for her. Both the Fried Rice and the Boil are just amazing. They come HOT off the pot, and also HOT on the palate, if one likes. There’s tons of crab in the fried rice, and tons of everything nice in The Boil. Everything is fresh and crisp and tasty and drooly and lipsmacking and mouthwatering and seafood dreamingly delicious. Honestly had a great dinner and went home stuffed like a walrus on steroids… all for an average $107…. Which is pretty much average for these times. Overall… great experience another port in the storm… Thank you so much, Maya D! maybe will be back for more on a non-working day evening.
