Pearl Restaurant - Rocky Mountain House

If you are coming from out of tow, don't expect this to be a Ritzy dine-in establishment. We had the dinner for 2, and it was quite good. Egg rolls were massive homemade battered goodness. Sweet and sour chicken balls were unabashedly deep fried with generous helping of white chicken in the centre. Fried rice was also good and tastes right off the grill. Beef and green vegetables was probably the best, as broccoli had some crunch, and was fresh along with the rest. Oil used for cooking didn't leave any awful aftertaste.Restaurant had a smokey, oil bit of haze. Definitely a good place for take out or dine-in if you aren't fussy.

In my opinion, this restaurant services the best, freshest Chinese in Rocky AT GOOD PRICES!!I have ordered many many times from the Pearl. Gingerbeef is nice and tender, compared to some other places in town. When I call in my order, I am always greeted with a friendly lady voice. I've never dined in, the dining room is a bit dated, but the take out is yummy....why because they definitely concentrate more on the quality of the food! The Pearl will continue to be my favourite.

Even though there was drunk people coming in and out. But ordered chicken fried rice and it was delicious! Also their deep fried shrimp light and fluffy not over seasoned, just perfect. Their waitress was always busy but lots but she was very friendly and polite. Chef was a hard worker, but he did a great job In rush, they were both amazing works balancing the whole restaraunt between them. Cute little restaurant, they can't pick their customers so I wouldn't blame the drunk people coming in and out of the place their fault.

Ordered Singapore fried noodles, not a shrimp or bean sprout to be found, lots of cabbage and grease though. Also, had the hot and sour soup, 7 bucks. Good flavor but needs more stuff in it. I usually eat at one of the other Chinese rests but thought I'd branch out this time. Was not happy with the food and won't be returning. The other items on the menu may be great I don't know.

Grosses place I've ever sat in! There was only One waitress who coughed ALL OVER THE PLACE, one cook who was stressed out and managed to burn Chinese food. Sanitation was EXTREMELY questionable. Within 10 minutes of being in there I wanted to cancel our order and leave. Full of drunks coming in and out of the restaurant making us feel very uncomfortable while the waitress ran around yelling at them all to get out, even tho they refused. People served themselves out of the fridge that contained drinks, pop, and food! The fridge was viewable to the entire restaurant and very not clean. The fridge was a coca cola pop machine.... The kitchen was viewable to the entire restaurant as well and very not clean. The food itself? Was probably the nastiest thing I've ever ingested! I'm afraid we will get severely sick from the food, the coughing waitress, and the terrible sanitation of the restaurant! I wouldn't recommend this place to a sewer rat!!!!
