The cuisine is excellent and the staff is friendly. Due to the tourist vouchers, we had to change our reservation last minute and did not celebrate New Year's Eve there as originally planned, even though the government extended them until July 2022. After leaving, I had to send them additional documentation for which I did not receive a greeting or even a thank you.

I am a guest from Singapore and stayed at Hotel Aleksander in late October 2021. This is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed at, with its stunning architecture of a palace that is around 160 years old. The views from the Penthouse balcony are spectacular, offering scenic mountains to enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets with the relaxing sounds of nature. The hotel service is excellent, with very friendly and professional staff providing top-notch services with attention to detail. I was impressed by the fine dining cuisine, featuring traditional Slovenian recipes made with fresh organic ingredients and unforgettable toasts with fine wine for good health. Being in wellness and nutrition education, I was very impressed with the range of medical programs, wellness offerings, and spa services. It was a great place for me to rejuvenate my body and work towards optimal health. The hotel is surrounded by lush trees in parks and mountain hiking trails, providing fresh air and beneficial ions for my well-being. I was delighted to find fresh water with magnesium minerals pumped directly from underground at about 1 km in depth. Daily consumption of this water helped me detox, relax my muscles and blood vessels, and boost my energy. I am looking forward to visiting Hotel Aleksander again next year.

This restaurant is just perfect. It is absolutely the best place to spend some relaxing days.

Falsche Versprechen und Service nein danke!“Wir wollten es uns für 10 Tage im 5 Sterne Hotel gut gehen lassen.Vorab per Email bat ich darum, ein Zimmer mit Blick auf die Landschaft zu erhalten.Wir bekamen ein Zimmer im EG, mit direktem Blick auf den Parkplatz. Sodass die Scheinwerfer der Autos einem direkt ins Zimmer leuchten. Am Morgen wurde ich durch laute Geräusche vom Nachbarzimmer geweckt.Nachdem ich die dem Hotelmanager mitteilte, daß wir ein anderes Zimmer wollten, gab es auch keinen Nachlass. Im 5 Sterne Hotel habe ich wenigstens etwas Service erwartet.Von daher, einmal und NIE WIEDER.
