Abuelo’s Mexican - Rogers

Great ambiente, the place is spacious and perfect for families. the dulce de leche cheesecake was great, but the entreès were okay. server was okay. I wouldn't say it tasted like authentic Mexican food.

This restaurant is a lovely place with a welcoming atmosphere. The walls are adorned with beautiful paintings and murals. The service was superb, attentive without being overbearing. Our server was very knowledgeable and our food was served promptly and was both delicious and hot. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience. They also offer a cute gluten-free menu for those with dietary restrictions.

Ordered what I thought would be a quick lunch for curbside pickup. Made the order, and it said 11-13 minutes for curbside. I texted the number to indicate my space, waited for more than 30 minutes in a dead parking lot. Why curbside? Simple, I have a bad hip and it 's a very nice convenience to have curbside. But after the 30 minutes of waiting, I decided to go in and get it myself. Found my order, sitting at the go to stand, with a receipt that says CURBSIDE! I 've been to the Abuelos location in Texas and love to eat there. While the food is a step up in elegance to traditional Tex-mex, the service is terrible. I asked the host if this was my curbside order. She said yes and walked away, didn 't even ask for my name. I walked out unhappy, and to no surprise, my food was stone cold.. such a disappointment..
