Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Rogers

I waited 37 years to try Popeye's chicken, as I grew up eating Church's. Now, Church's seems like a runner-up. The spicy drumsticks were exceptional—juicy, flavorful, with a crunchy skin that wasn't overly spicy. The green beans were fantastic, prepared Southern-style with bits of ham and onion. The mac 'n cheese was satisfying, featuring a more authentic cheese flavor rather than imitation. The price for this meal was excellent. Additionally, the biscuit was baked to perfection and had a delightful taste. Overall, Popeye's is undoubtedly the best fried chicken, hands down.

I don't think there's any dispute...Popeye's has the best chicken sandwich and everyone should try it. I usually get the spicy one and then get coleslaw as a side to balance out the heat. I grew up in the northeast and then I moved to the northwest so I'm not used to having a popeye's but I haven't once been to KFC since moving here two years ago.

Very good food. I eat there often...always take out.
