Lobos Cafe - Rohnert Park

Honestly one of the best places to eat at on campus! The food is always fresh and I like seeing everyone I know! Inexpensive but with even better quality. I hope they open up in the Fall of '21 because I can 't wait to go back!

Atmosphere Great spot to go with friends or colleagues at Sonoma State! My departement and I eat here together most days. They have great patio seating with sun umbrellas or heaters. They are okay with people bringing in their own food if others order. They also have several TVs that play sporting events and a pool table that gets a lot of use. On Fridays and some evenings they have events here such as game night, BINGO, Karaoke, and Open Mic. Food Food is a fairly typical selection of pub type food. They have weekly specials that include anything from tacos to teriyaki bowls to curry chickpeas. Their apps are fairly reasonably priced and tasty; highlights include garlic tater tots and quesadilla. Nachos are also good and they offer the option of tater tot nachos. For entrees they also have pizza, sandwiches, and salads. I often get the Lobo 's Salad. It comes with spring mix, balsamic dressing, tomatoes, and fresh motz. My only complaint on the sandwiches and salads is that they are a bit pricey for the amount of food you get. Specials They have weekly specials or new menu items and M-F from 2-5 (double check that time) they have happy hour with $1 off drinks. Service Many of the cashiers and cooks are students... so be easy on them! They are learning. The only reason for a 4 (rather than 5 star review) is that their food is not very consistent in terms of portion size and quality and their offerings are fairly limited.

I've gone to Lobos 4 times so far and I've got pretty mixed feelings. The food is ok depending on what you order, and service depends on when you eat there. I've had some pretty bad experiences with this place though. On my 2nd visit here, I ordered pizza by the slice. The bottom of the pizza was burnt and it felt rubbery, I suspected it was microwaved and had it returned. On my 4th visit here I got a BBQ chicken sandwich that tasted good but gave me nausea and indigestion. On both occasions, I had stopped by there for lunch, which I will not be doing again.

Don't try any of the ethnic food, it tastes like garbage. Stick to the pizza and sando's

This is my absolute favorite spot on campus! With this week's warm weather, a friend and I decided to grab a beer and some food between classes. We sat on the outdoor patio to soak up the lovely weather, and we had a fantastic time. It's also a great place to do homework, depending on your mood! This time, we both ordered the Ace Guava Ciders, which were delicious and incredibly refreshing—definitely can't go wrong with an Ace Cider! We also shared the totchos (tater tot nachos), and they completely blew us away. They were so tasty and reasonably priced. We were pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size, especially given the low price. Some menu items are definitely better and higher quality than others, but these totchos were absolutely a 10/10. I can't wait to come back and enjoy the nice weather for the last few weeks of the semester!
