No holiday in this part of Spain would be complete without at least one visit to La Campana, and my old favourite, the goulash. Add a touch of the chili, and it's excellent.
4 of us went to dinner here. Very disappointed. We went because we wanted Gulash . No Gulash!. No lamb either. Not much choice left for a non fish eater. They brought out bread and Alioil, but no plates to put it on. The bread was just bread from a loaf. The tomato soup was very sweet and served in a chipped bowl. The beef strips were very salty. The pork was ok . The apple pie, was not a pie and had hardly any apple in at all and was very dried up, looked like it was a few days old. The pancakes served with sugar and a very small squeeze of lemon, they did say if you wanted more lemon, please ask. For goodness sake, the Lemons in Spain cost next to nothing, buy a bad for a euro and gut some up and put a piece of lemon on the plate. The owner who served us did not seem all that bothered that we were there, we were the only people in there on a monday night. Would not recommend
The food here is absolutely delicious, I ate from the Hungarian menu and was not disappointed! Excellent service and great value for money.
The goulash is still my favourite, although either my memory is playing tricks, or the pieces of beef seem to be getting smaller.
