Feedback gevenAny true Roman, questioned out of capital, decantates enzo as a place of worship. from 1935 I find myself for tourists and people of the city, for those who seek music in the streets of trastevere and for those who want a fast service after a queue that flows. not only does it not disappoint expectations, but it overwhelms the imagination: one of the best places of Romanity ever tried. all perfect, from the sympathy of those who work at the quality of the dishes, from artichoke to cacio and pepper. without forgetting that the group that followed two dreaming brothers is united more than ever. among all, rachele with tanned eyes can abducte the heart by telling that truth that only a mother-in-law knows. to return, to remember among the places of the heart of a life spent in emotion.
After a half hour wait (not accepting bookings,) we settled in the first places available. carbonara and cacio and pepper must have been tasted, but first we tasted the artichoke to the judia and pumpkin flowers. all very good accompanied by a red of the house. to finish tiramisu and bitter. for me the wait has been repaid!
This is still my favorite restaurant in Rome, even after four excursions. It became my favorite in 2018 on my first trip, and I'm always coming to make sure it's as big as I remember - and it's always! I tried many, many other restaurants. But I always stay in Da Enzo at least once a trip, and it's always one of my favorite foods. You need to wait in line, even if you show up before they open in February during the COVID... But waiting wasn't long, and it's always worth it.
