Il Laghetto - Roma

The location over looks a fishing lake which makes for a pleasant view. The restaurant decor isn't great, could do with a makeover to make it more welcoming. As for the food, very disappointing. No real lunch menu offered, it is a pizzeria but not served at lunch time. As an alternative we opted for stakes. Gushing by what we were served, these was just large t bones that had been defrosted and seated on the grill. Absolutely awful quality meat with fat, gristle and sinue. The only saving grace was the tapas selection.

The place is beautiful and the atmosphere is pleasant. good food and friendly staff. what made me turn my nose was the poor amount of meat grill and the price of roasts (practically 1.5€/arrostiscino). Actually, the prices were high in general for the menu offered.
